10KeyPro is a free KPH benchmarking platform built for data entry professionals and job seekers. Our test measures Gross KPH and Net KPH — the accuracy-adjusted metric used in employment screening for medical billing, accounting, banking, and government data entry roles.
10KeyPro is a free testing and training resource for anyone preparing to take a 10-key data entry assessment. Our tools are built specifically to mirror the testing environments used by accounting firms, banking institutions, medical billing departments, and government agencies that hire for data entry roles.
Most online typing tests measure words per minute (WPM) — a metric that has nothing to do with the way numeric data entry is actually performed on the job. Real employment tests measure keystrokes per hour (KPH) on a 10-key numeric keypad, with accuracy weighted equally to or more than raw speed. We built 10KeyPro to give job seekers a free, accurate way to practice the exact format they will encounter in a hiring assessment.
Every article on 10KeyPro is written or reviewed by the 10KeyPro Editorial Team — a group of career advocates and developers with direct experience in data entry hiring, training programs, and assessment software. We do not accept paid placements, and we do not publish content generated solely by AI without human review and editing.
When we recommend hardware, software, or services, we disclose any affiliate relationships clearly. Our recommendations are based on performance and value to data entry professionals — not on commission rates.

The KPH benchmarks published on 10KeyPro are drawn from publicly documented hiring standards used by major employment assessment platforms including Kenexa Prove It!, Criteria Corp, and eSkill, as well as published job posting requirements from leading employers in medical billing, banking, and government contracting. We update our benchmark data annually. The current benchmarks reflect 2026 standards as observed across job postings and employer documentation in the first quarter of 2026.
The 10KeyPro typing test runs entirely in your browser. Your individual keystrokes are not transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or associated with your identity in any way. The only data we collect is aggregate, anonymized performance data used to calibrate benchmark accuracy. If you generate a certificate, the score and timestamp are calculated locally in your browser. See our full Privacy Policy for complete details.
